Aided with the development of a school-wide library through soliciting donations and hosting student-led book drives           

Catalogued and circulated a middle school library                                                                           

Worked with Scholastic Books to present a book fair and gained over $1500.00 worth of books for the school                                                                          

Instituted a school-wide Accelerated Reader program in conjunction with Renaissance Learning    

Served on the discipline committee

Utilized Smartboard technology (2 days of official PD training), class sets of netbook computers, and a class set of Samsung Galaxy tablets for classwork     

Conceptualized, planned and currently teach lessons based on state standards and benchmarks as laid out in the Common Core Curriculum                           

Participated in numerous IEP and IAT meetings as well as implemented Behavior Intervention Plans       

Organized and attended numerous educational field trips to facilitate experiential learning with my students

Managed the school website and facebook Page

Managed the emails of all staff and students at New Media Middle School
